I'm receiving call from H & P capital that brought my acct from cash supply whos' loans are illegal in the the state of ohio, how should I proceed?

If it is illegal then why even ask for validation? Shouldn't you just send them a letter informing them that the account itself is illegal and to go pound sand? THEN report them and the original loan place.
