I make no excuse for my debt. But this takes the cake.

I have on repeated occasions received phones calls at my place of employment. There are several people in my department named Elizabeth. On more than one occasion the caller from the company has failed to confirm that they have reached the correct Elizabeth and have shared my personal information with someone other than myself. On 9-13-2008 someone called my place of employment and when transferred to the INCORRECT Elizabeth and after being told this was the incorrect Elizabeth they insisted that they were talking to the correct Elizabeth. They continued to harass this co-worker after she repeatedly told them that she was not me. After being hung up on the same caller then had a female call back and ask to speak to Beth. The secretary (who was made aware of the events that just occurred as well as 15 + co-workers, my two immediate supervisors and my manager), explained that I was not working. The caller then stated that she knew I was there because she had just called and was speaking to me. The secretary explained that there was indeed more than one Elizabeth and that I was not working. She was then hung up on.

I returned to work on 9-13-08 to be told of the events that occurred the day before. I was humiliated and my rights were violated.

I don't know what to do

That is a violation of the fair trade act. Get their written testimony and contact a lawyer. Make sure you cook them well done too!!!
