Proper Response to Summons

I checked the BBB site and found Hayt, Hayt & Landau to be a collection law firm. Since you have received court summons, you need to visit the court from where the summon was issued, and file an answer to it with the clerks office. You just need to fill up the form where you need to "accept" or "do not accept" the charges brought against you by the creditor.
