i have a judgement that i am willing to make payments on and the people who hold judgment are saying they are going to take my house can they do that i live in ohio and the amount is only $5000

Welcome to the forum jdew5256. I don't know everything about property laws for Ohio. However if they placed a lien on your house then that just means that if you should sell your house then you will need to pay the $5,000 before you can sell it. Some states have homestead laws that may limit or prohibit seizure/liens of land property. I'm not entirely certain but I think that in order for them to force the sale of your house I think the lien needs to equal or exceed the value of the house, which would in turn stick them with the mortgage if there is one.
