Hello, Everyone:

Does anyone have any advice, or contact information, about how to deal with Verizon? Does anyone k now how to contact their legal department?

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Last year I stopped using their landline service at home, then came back to them six months later. When I re-signed up, they botched the billing totally, and I told them I would not pay the old invoice/account until they fixed the billing. It took them SIX MONTHS to get the bill right; in the meantime, the old account went into collection for around $200.00. I am just furious with this company. I have spent the last five years with perfect credit, have raised my credit scores more than 150 points, and now this. I checked my credit score, and it went down almost 50 points this week, because of Verizon.

Does anyone know Verizon well enough to tell give me contact info (phone, writing, etc.) for the company to contact someone at Verizon to fix this problem. Do I need to contact their legal department? They have now reported the old bill as a charge-off, and given it to a third-party collector for collection.

I appreciate anyone who can help with this issue.

Thank You Very Much.

If your old account has been charged off, Verizon, more than likely, won't deal with it anymore, they will refer you back to the agency attempting to collect. You're bad debt matter lies with them.

Can't help you with contacting verizon directly.

Hope some of this helps.
