Hi, I have a question regarding a third party collection agency...calls themselves Imperial Partner Recovery LLC, our of Kansas...They bought my account from Wells Fargo, whom I paid my debt too, and they never cleared me from their records. I was threatened to be taken garnishment or to court regarding this debt, I had been paying them the last 4 months, and at the end of Sept. 2011 their Phone number was blocked as All Circuits are busy, since I had an arrangement with them and I can't pay them, can they still go after my Income? Do you think they Forfiet the debt? Please send me a response, whom ever works for debt relief.

Thanks,
AA:p

Ok ...you have a conflict of terms here. Wells does not always sell their paper...they assign, not sell their accounts as a general rule.
Do you have the Wells receipts?? Proof of payment??

Why?? Thought you had paid it off??? Did you ever send a dispute IN WRITING???? Did you call Wells at all?
