A response from Westbury Ventures

I received a phone call from a Rachel from Westbury Ventures this morning. She was VERY nice (at first) saying that she received my complaint with the State of Indiana Attorney Generals office. She said "oh please lets work out a settlement". She said you took out a loan through Platium B Services for 300.00. I said yes I did. She said your balance is 300.00. I said well I have paid back 180.00 so far. She said all we want is the principal amount. I said OK. She said how much are you willing to pay. I said I am only paying back what my state allows and the remaining balance is 161.00. She said "hold 1 minute" I'm like OK :wink: She came back and said well you balance is 300.00. I said excuse me, I have already filed several complaints on your company. I have been dealing with a Ryan Hall....Do you really expect me to pay back the 300.00? She said thats what I will agree to and when it's paid I will mark your account PIF. I started laughing. She said "whats so funny?" I said you are calling me because I filed a complaint against your company right? Yes, maam. I said what does it say in my complaint? AHHHHHHHHHH :shock: . I believe if you read it again it says that your company is charging me illegal fees for this loan. Your buddy Ryan Hall wanted 570.00. She said OH! I said listen to me very carefully so you can hear the words that are coming out of my mouth......" I am NOT paying a penny more then my state laws allow" She said can you pay $ 180.00? I said thats not 161.00...She's like well can you pay 175.00? I said maam this is cracking me up. I really needed a laugh today. My balance is 161.00 and thats what you are going to get. She said well can you send them money gram. I said no, I will send them my way which is money orders only. She said "hold the line again" :P After a few seconds she said it dont look like I'm going to win this one am I she started laughing (LOL) I said "thats right toots!" I have no clue why I said that but I did :lol: She said well we need the full amount due by the end of march. I said I will see how my finances are and "it depends" She said lets make it all due by the first week in April! I said OK....


She then emailed me a release form that I needed to look over, sign and fax.

Has anyone ever gotten a Release form?


Just had to share....I didnt back down and she knew it! :) It made my day.....It went along with this beautiful day.....
