I had a collection agency who harassed me late last year (Nov 2009).

They treatened me, harassed me at work and called me at work after I had informed them I was not able to receive those types of calls. The collector lied about the company she worked for and misrepresented a much larger firm.

After everything was straightened out (meaning I found out which company she worked for etc) I sent the collection agency an Intent to Sue letter (upon recommendation) and sent it via certified mail with return receipt.

I got an email from the owner of the company (as he had remembered me via the emails sent back and forth between the larger firm, him and myself late last year) and let me know he had forwarded it to his lawyer for review.

I received a voicemail from what I believed to have been his legal counsel yesterday.

However, I am unsure if this company is his lawyers firm.

How should I deal with the call? What questions should I ask them? How should I work twords the settlement?
