do anyone know who this is they have an indian accent and it sounds like they are on a cell phone

A female with mid eastern accent left a message with some code ending in "D" and left a "direct line" number to call her back which was different in regards to whatever it is. She made threatening statements and I was stunned when she mentioned 2 people I know and said "even they will be in deep trouble if you do not respond" then ended with "have a blessed day". Naming 2 people I know really shook me. I haven't spoken to either one of these people for awhile..over 2 years in one case but the fact they had their names is kinda scary. Whoever they are I don't give a dam...but it's the others I fear for...MFOs gonna die if I get em...
No Company Name Given

If you punch in that phone into Google, you will find that it is a scam "phishing" company. They are looking for personal information so they can scam you or steal your identity. It seems most likely that they are from a different country so even if discovered they would just change tack and continue. :shakes head:

These days, I'd say if you don't recognize the number, don't answer the phone. One time, I was getting numerous calls a day from a collection agency in New York. I even talked to them once, and when they told me the name (different from mine), I told them that the person no longer had the number and to quit calling me. They did not, and I changed my phone number just a few days later.

I received a call at my job from a gentleman with an Indian accent who wanted to talk to another gentleman as if he was training him.

I stated if it was in relation to my job then i wouldn't have anything say. When I didn't comply with his request he mention contacting my supervisor; I told him good luck.

The caller is a bill collector!
First things first; answer the phone and get information listed below. I know it's tough but you have to do it. Get online and research FDCPA. Do not threaten the company in any way. You will need a surprise attack; trust me.
Ok, what you need to do is get a letter from the company, if you're able to. Then write in a CEASE AND DESIST (all calls) letter. If it is a home phone it must be done in writing but your cell and work phone can be done verbally. They have to do this or it is a FDCPA violation. Get as much information on the company as possible like; company name, address, phone number and the reps. name.
Then file a complaint with your ATTORNY GENERAL'S OFFICE; this is free.
The more complaints against them the more apt we are to close them down and/or file suit against them.
If they do not do abide the call an attorney and file a law suit against them but there is a filing fee involved.
Good luck!

I also got a call from the same number( 585-919-0331 ) without any message... and when call back, I heard an auto voice stating that it is disconnected. It is a SCAM,coming from a third country via Internet! Do not fall for it. FYI, I got couple of similar calls from another number..they are all the same, switching gears and trying to rip you OFF! Stay alert and be careful, do not provide any information, do not even confirm your name before making sure who you talking to!
