Sale of invalid debt

What do you do if a 3rd party collections company that you requested validation of debt sold the account to another collections company?
Isn't that fraud? Does anyone have a letter that I could use to make this debt go away (if I can)?

They dont have to validate it...however if they dont they
They dont have to validate it...however if they dont they cannot continue to collect on it. Nothing prevents them from selling it to the next JDB. Maybe this JDB will take the time to go thru the bank boxes or tapes to pull the information.
