Lukehart and Assoc. formerly Jakoby Law Firm

Well... I don't have a personal experience dealing with Lukehart and Assoc., who were formerly known as the Jakoby Law Firm. However, I found their offical website: "http://jakobylaw.com/Attorneys.html".

They tried to become Jacoby law but then the dead beat lawyer found out he can not name the firm... i mean his office after his son. So to avoid getting sanctioned by the attorney regulation committee he changed it to his name. But all in all it is still ran by mike scata who owned Regent asset management solutions. By the way they can not collect any debt in the state of Colorado.

I checked the company with BBB. The law firm is not a BBB accredited business. They have received F rating from BBB on a scale from A+ to F.

They have been harassing me for several months over an old debt. They have broken numerous FDCPA laws and counting: 1) They have my correct mailing address, yet they have failed to send a Dunning letter after calling and harassing me for weeks. 2) They are using call spoofing (a big no no) when calling me. 3) They continue to harass my elderly parents several states away even though I have verified my correct mailing address and phone number with them. All this while they have failed to respond to my DV letter (another no no). The consumer attorney I have hired is going to have a field day with these scum bags.

I don't owe any money to these people. My bills are paid on time. These people obviously make a living scamming people. From what I can tell when I did a check on these people, they are fraudulent. I would never send them money! I'm not sure how they get our private information, but people that commit fraud would not hesitate to get it in the same fraudulent manner.

I found the site online which is Lukehardt & Ass Law Office formerly known as Jakoby Law Firm Debt Consolidation. I wonder how many people that were having financial problems and thought they were consolidating their bills but had to file bankruptcy because of these people.

So BEFORE you send them any money, check the BBB. I saw on one site that the company rated an "F". And also check online - I found a lot of information on them concerning fraud.

Please don't be duped by these people!

they are crooks! they have been calling me for months saying i had an account go negative and charged off... I called the bank to verify with the account number they gave me and there is no record of that acct number for me or that i ever charged off anything. he was HIDEOUS to me saying we both know you never called the bank and we both know you went into that bank, opened that account then left it.......hideous man!!!!! do not give him a dime. if he tries to post to my credit...oh help me!

I haven't seen mike Scata there, but the company is definitely ran be Andrew geffen, the same guy who managed regent and standley and associates. I think they can collect in Colorado because they are a law firm. I don't think Andrew geffen owned any of the companies. I think he just runs them all.
