I have had a judgment against me in NY state. I think the debt is about $1800. What are my options now? Can I send monthly payments to the law firm? They don't know where I work yet and I don't want them showing up at my work place. I was never personally served with any papers. Nor did I actually receive the papers via mail. Apparently all the documents where sent to my parents house. What courses of action are available to me now?

Well, like Shazzers said, if they didn't follow the legal procedures, you can motion the court to vacate the judgment. However, some states do allow service by mail; so you will need to check with your laws.
If you can't vacate the judgment, then you will be best to setup some sort of acceptable arragements with the attorney. Otherwise, they can call you in for questioning to find out where you work at.
