I have one judgment against me that is now on my credit report. I am paying off the balance in full over 24 months. Once this is paid off in full can I get some sort of notation put into my credit report to show it was paid or will my credit just show the judgment for the next 7 years without any indication it was paid off?

Once it is paid, it should say on there that the account is paid in full, or paid as agreed, or something to that nature. If it doesn't, you can contact each of the three credit reports and ask them to investigate. Once they do that, and confirm the info, they will add it themselves. I had a settled account that wasn't turning up on my Equifax report. So I opened an investigation with them, and they found my info to be correct, and added "paid as agreed" onto the report. You have to be responsible for your own credit reports and keep checking them. Because sometimes the creditors are negligent in updating them unless prodded to do so. I can't stress that enough - make sure you have access to all three reports, and keep checking them. It's important to keep up with it, especially if you have had credit problems that you are trying to work your way out of.
