Hi, please help me on this question :)
When you have a debt, after filing for BK does this wipe out everything or just you are protected until the day of your filing after ??

Contact with a bankruptcy attorney and ask them!!!

Are you looking into filing BK under Chapter 7 or 13? Your debts are discharged through bankruptcy, they don't disappear. Talk to a bankruptcy attorney.

shut up you two

any debt you put in a BK petition and is discharged is no longer owed.so while it remains on your CR for 10yrs it does in a way vanish as anybody who tries to collect on it can be sued to high heaven.ignore the one above me please.they don't what they are talking about.
