Here's the email reply from her threatening phone call yesterday. She wants to give me her personal address?? After she treatened me and called me all kinds of names? Who's to say she won't cash it and then just keep the money?

And besides, I looked back at my paments and only owe today $80 on principal, not this $610 or whatever.

What do you think?

Amy: I spoke with my Supervisor with regards to payment on your account and wasadvised you will be approved to send money order, via the mail, with therestriction that it be sent "next day deliver service" only. As of today, your total account balance is $620; loan payoff is for $510due 01-02-09, by mail, "next day delivery service" only. You will need to email back today and confirm this payment and paymentmethod. Once you have done that I will provide you with my personal mailingaddress. This is a loan payoff, meaning once you confirm payment and payment method, your account will then be removed from the collections process, your balancewill be frozen and no further charges will be assessed on the loan balanceas long as you follow through with the agreed arrangement. I agree with Soaplady and Dawn..report them. Google the phone number and see what comes up. These people are only the collectors for Cash Net 500. Cash Net 500 is affiliated with Pay Day Loan Yes, Global Pay day and USA Cash Express... at this point you are trying to do the right thing by paying them however, they are trying to scam you. If they will not give you a good physical BUSINESS address to mail your money order too then that is their problem....they are not licensed and doing business legally in your state.

Yes, this sounds totally suspicious....sounds like she intends to take the money and claim you never sent anything. Plus, telling you to send it next day? Bull crap. That is just an added expense. You make the money order out to the company, for the 80 you owe and include a letter stating that this payment is the final and that this debt is considered paid in full, you will not acknowledge any further communications from them what so ever.
