I received a summons from WWR, and I am trying to determine who the attorney is. They signed the summons, "respectfully submitted" , One of Its Attorneys, Attorney for the Plaintiff.

First of all, they listed the bank as being the plaintiff, and this is not true. WWR is the plaintiff. This is just one of many of the violations.

Do you have to be a licensed attorney to represent? At the bottom of the summons, they just pout attorney ID, but that is not the license number.

Can a law firm being licensed? And then, send an unlicensed attorney to court? I suspect that is what they are doing, since they did not list an attorney. I can not find their license in my state.

Check your coutny court house to make sure you have a suit against you. I find it strange that no actual attorney is listed. Are you talking about Weltman, Wienberg and Reis? They are a law office but each individual lawyer needs to be licensed by the state bar. You should ask the court clerk about that, or get a free consultation from an lawyer to find out if there is anything you can do that apparently an invisible lawyer is suing you.

Call the bank and find out if they own the account and if so who is representing it and if not, who they sold it too.
