Well, they weren't the ones I was going to deal with this week but they left me an urgent voicemail this evening so I decided what the heck. It turned out to be the good cop/bad cop routine. Now I borrowed $500 from Paycheck Today and have paid them $1,155 back. They want another $530 to go away. The first guy named Dan Kelsey was very friendly and jovial. He listened to me for a few minutes and then said OK to save time here you don't want to pay this right? I said no, like you owe me right? Then it was the old let me talk to my supervisor. Bad cop comes on and starts screaming at me and telling me how wrong I was. Many states have tried to get these internet PDL's and you know what they lose because they are wrong and the internet companies are right. You will pay for this and much more than you would have if you had just been willing to accept our generous offer. Now we will get you for the entire bill. Then he literally starting screaming at me and told me just to freaking pay my bills and before I could get a word in (and believe me I tried) he hung up on me. I tried calling back but they wouldn't answer. I know from when I intially called him they have caller ID so I know they knew I was calling. I want to go after them and Paycheck today. What should I do and where should I go first? They are going to regret treating me this way if it is the laswt thing I do.

The first thing I would do is write down as much as I could remember about the actual conversation. Who said what, what did you say, etc. If you have as much as possible written down and documented that would be a good start. Get as many names of people, times, that sort of thing.
Then I would verify that they are not licensed in your state. When you have verified this fact, then call your state's attorney general and file a claim with your information on the conversation, along with what you have paid on the loan. Explain that even though you have met this obligation, they are still coming after you for more and insulting you in the process.
I would also get their address and send them a cease and desist letter, saying that the only way they can contact you is through the US or email. They are not allowed to harass, belittle and insult you over the telephone lines anymore.

been there myself with these people. You need to file complaints ASAP. But ARM will come back and say that you lied. Thats what they did with my states DFI. But THEY got caught in a lie because she had copies of my bank statements for proof. They came back and said I agreed to payments and then when they tried to take the payments it always came back NSF which they were sent back account closed. And the last time I agreed to pay I agreed to a PIF amount to be drawn from my checking account in Jan. And the bank statement showed the account was closed in Nov. So she knew this was a lie. But during this time I kept e-mailing paychecktoday EVERY day demanding I settle with them and what ARM was doing. Yes I did still owe them money. But after the DFI mailed them a letter stating that she had proof when the account was closed and what they were doing was illegal ARM stopped calling me and I finally got mean with paychecktoday and finally got a response from them. And they agreed to settle for the amount I was willing to pay. So file in your state, Florida nad the BBB. Keep bugging them by e-mail. Get mean if you have to, I think thats why they finally settled.

I agree with all of the comments. I paid a settlement amount to get in return continous calls regarding additional funds. My understand of a settlement meant you pay what you are told and then move on. Not in this case I got numerous calls at work and cell phone all day long 7 days a week. There has got to be a way to get these people to understand that they cannot continue to call you over and over again at work. This is called harrassment.
