Is it too late to send one at this time?
If the CA turns my file over to an Attorney, upon notice from the Attorney, am I within my rights to request validation at that time?

The CA or the attorney won't honor your request to validate the debt during that period.

I haven't received an itemized statement in order to dispute an item.
However, it has been over 30-days since I received the correspondence.
