Hi- i was just notified that i have a lien on my account. I live in NJ and did not get ANY prior notice from anyone regarding this . I never got a court date, judgment papers etc from anyone.
I do not know who to speak to because the court officer is saying he cant do anything and the cc lawyers just want the $$ so there is nothing i can do.
I just feel so helpless because i was not notified at all... and i am not a lawyer.

You need to look up the court case and see when and how you were
You need to look up the court case and see when and how you were served. If you were not properly served, you need to motion the court to have the judgment set aside for lack of service.
