If someone owes me money, but they do not own a home (she lives in an apartment), is it possible to put a lien against her? What kind of lien do I pursue? Thank you for your input / advise.

In order to get a lien, you would have to sue her first. Once you get a judgment, then you can garnish wages or seize a bank account.
