Hi, I've been trying fo fix my credit over the last 3 months, the creditor ad collection agencies are driving me nuts. All the trouble happend 5 years ago, the statutes of limitations are only 3 years in m state so at least I know that I won't have legal problems but since I started to send letters I have about 80% gone for good but the two remaining, capital one and LVNV are calling my house phone 3 or 4 times a day asking for money or else...
I'm sick of it, so yesterday I suspended the phone service and started to look for a credit repair company. The only one I found different was this bcrconsulting.us, they say that I don'thave to pay them anything until they get some bad stuff deleted from my report. Anybody know them? any experience with them? I'll really need to do something about this credit thing I just got married and we are planning to buy a house this summer.

Get an attorney and file a suit against LvNV funding for violating the fdcpa. It is illegal for them to call you over and over. They will settle out of court as part of the cost of doing business. You can find an attorney that will take this on a contingency basis.
Beware of credit repair companies. Some will get items removed off your reports and then after you pay them the info gets put back on your report after 30 days.. I have heard good things about Lexington Law although you can do this yourself if you are willing to work at it. It will take about 18 months to really get your score up. Take out a secured credit card from you bank and pay the full balance every month. That will help you a great deal. Beware of "second chance" cards. The fees will devour your money!
