Do NOT give out your banking info to ANY collection agency. They will wipe you out, take the full amount of what they think you owe, and then not give back the difference because they say "Well, you owed it all anyway. Let's just consider it paid in full." Trust me....they WILL take a money order. Just be sure and send it to them certified mail and take copies of everything for your own records. After a week or so, call the money order company to verify that the money order has been transacted on, and write that date on your copy of the money order.

ATTENTION CONSUMERS!
If you are CONTACTED by a Debt Collector:
NEVER give them your banking or credit card information. They will take much more than you authorize.
NEVER do 'checks by phone' as debt collectors could empty your bank account, you have no recourse.
NEVER send them money via Western Union.
REMEMBER: Debt Collectors have NO power and NO authority and should NEVER be trusted. They will lie and cheat you to get at your money. If it????????s NOT in writing, it????????s NOT a deal.
BEWARE: Paying a debt collector will NOT get an account removed from your credit. They do NOT have that ability.
