want to pay on line

When I first went to court I was to make 25 dollars a month and was informed by the attorney that I could make payments on line or check or phone. I want to make payments on line and was told I could not since I had a cease and desist order against them, ( I did not). I wrote to the courts and the answer came back Defendant shall make payments any way she can. I had been paying on line for the past year and have had no problems. Now I am again told that I can not pay on line and they are letting me pay 25.00 per month. (Why is it signed by the judge?) I want to pay on line and not call them monthly nor do I want them to have access to my account and I am afraid to send the check in the mail for fear it could get lost and I don't want to be arrested. They said it was their client that will not let me pay on line when I am paying them since GE Money bank closed my account. By refusing to accept my payment on line can I ask the court to consider this paid in full?

Just ignore them and keep paying it online. If they start to refuse payments, then immediately contact the judge and explain that you are making your payments, but that they are refusing them. Since the judge ordered that you can pay it any way you can, you do exactly that. There is nothing they can do to you as long as you make the payments.

Pretty straight forward....you cannot pay online if GE closed your account which is pretty well always the case on charge off accounts. More than likely you should be paying the attorney each month and not GE. Sounds like you have a contingency judgment whereby you make your payments as you agreed thus avoiding bank levy and wage garnishment.

It seems that the OP was making the judgement payments online (at least that is how I read it) and was just recently told no.

Some banks have the ability to set up a bill pay or automatic payments that you set up and they send out the payments. You could look into that.
