I have been paying these people 100.00 a month for 9 months based on an agreement with them. Now all the sudden, 100.00 a month is not good enough. They called me at work today and offed settlement of 3900.00 in 3 months payment. If I could afford to do that, I wouldn't be in debt anyway. Anyhow, I explained to them that my financially situation has not changed and that 100.00 is all i can pay. The lady I spoke with said that wasn't good enough. Well, it has been good enough for 9 months, whats the difference now?. Anyway, she said they would sue, etc, if I didn't settle with them. I went ahead a set up the 100.00 a month payment deduction monthly on their website just like I had been doing to show that I am in good faith trying to pay this debt. Shouldn't that account for something? The people are ruthless. I can't cash out my 401K, I am checking in to getting a personal loan to see if I can get money to pay them off, no luck yet. But willing to do 100.00 a month until something else pans out. Any one else having this problem, please advise?

I have read on several different websites that Mann Bracken is sue happy. I would just keep paying them the $100 dollars until they try to sue. What state are you in, because I know in Illinois if a company seeks judgemet you can submit an installment plan for the courts to approve as long as it pays the debt off in three years. You can check to see if your state has something similar and the fact that you are already paying them monthly will look good on your behalf.
