Mann Bracken Suing and BK?

Ok...so Mann Bracken is suing me and the court date is April 8th. We are seeing a bk attorney on March 12th and will be filing as soon as everything is ready. I've tried to work things out, but there is no way I can settle all our accounts. My question is, will I still have to go to the court date on April 8th?

Everything will need to be filed for the automatic stay to go into effect.

Not that it really matters cause if they get a default judgment it will get discharged in the Bankruptcy anyway but it's good to not have the judgment on your credit report.

I was wondering about that. So if they don't get everything sent in time and they hold the hearing and I don't go then there will be a judgement? Then that would be discharged in the bk?

Have your BK lawyer contact MB and more than likely the court case will go away. They won't want to spend any more money once they realize that the BK is for real.
