You can check them out in BBB. They have got 20 complaints, most of which went unresolved, in the last 12 months. IMO that speaks a volume about them.

Anyway, you can look up the county court site to confirm if they are faking or there indeed is a lawsuit filed against you.

Very probably, this is not legit. To be on the safe side, you can check the court website or call the court clerk's office anytime after the 12th.
Is this the first contact you've had from Marval? What else did the message have to say? It's sounding like a possible overshadowing case to me, but you haven't given me enough info to say for certain.

Phone number will get you an operator, ask to speak with Dom Dangelo, he apparently runs things around there.
They're not licensed anywhere as far as I've been able to tell, one of those fly by night Buffalo CAs.
If you send a DV, don't expect a response. Only thing I've been able to get them to respond to is a complaint and served summons.
Currently talking with Dom right now about settlement arrangements.
