Medical Claims and Collections in Texas

I recently had a baby and we had no insurance. MCCI has now taken over all my hospital medical bills. Nascardevil, if you are out there, I am not finding them registered with the SOS in Texas.
What are my options? These people have already reported each charge on my credit report. I have paid off two of the bills, but the big one is $16K.

Nascardevil, thanks for the tip. Whay are anyone's options if you find out that any collection agency is NOT registered? Can you dispute?
A consumer does not have a private right of action against a CA
A consumer does not have a private right of action against a CA who does not have the required bond posted in Texas. Only the SOS and AG's can pursue that. You can use it as leverage though when you send your DV's. What I add when I cannot find bonding info is:
