Whis is Midland Credit Mgmt on my credit report?

I don't know the answer to your question, but a debt counselor will be calling you as you registered as a member on this forum. I do know this---my brother had a car repossessed and he eventually had to pay off, yes--even though he no longer had it. Why?--I don't know.

If a car is repossessed, and it is sold at auction for a loss you will be responsible for the difference. Midland is a collector and your auto finance company sold the debt to them. If they decide to pursue it, Midland will take you to court to garnish your wages. I never had a car repossessed, but had Midland as a collector on charged off credit cards. They served papers on me within 3 months of aquiring the debts. This was 5 years ago, but I am sure they are just as aggressive now.

This appears on my credit report open on January 1 2006.. with the terms one month.. I do not know what this is about.. Can you help?
