When does the statue start is it the last it is reported on your credit report or from the last time a payment was made? A debt collecter bought some debts and has collected a couple times from me when I looked on my credit report he looks to be reporting on the last outstanding debt I have even though contact has not been made since 2003 all of a sudden he reported it to 2009. If this is the case how can the statue even be argued if debt collectors can do this any info will help.
