I have been receiving calls from kevin garsh of morgan and assoc. Who will only tell me that i will be charged with a crime if i dont pay a debt of a online loan that i never took out. Not only did i not take any loan from cash advance america or any of its affiliates, which he would not even tell which one but i didnt have a checking account in 2009. He told me i need to pay it even if i was victim of identity theft to avoid prosecution. He would not put on his supervisor and would not even tell where the money was deposited. I never took a loan and i think its a scam, does anyone else have the same experience with this kevin garsh from morgan and assoc.. I had to call back to the name of the company. I had several calls early in the morning and all day long. I have told him to do what he has to because im not paying a loan i didnt take out and if they wont even tell me the specifics, than how can we resolve this. This guy is an ass and i think the whole thing is a scam to intimidate people into paying for loans never taken out by the threat of prosecution.
If you never took out the loan, then you're not liable to pay it
If you never took out the loan, then you're not liable to pay it off. No one can wrongfully accuse you of any act that you've not done. You should even consult an attorney to determine legal action that you can take against creditors, credit bureaus, and/or debt collectors if they are not cooperative in removing fraudulent entries or are harassing you even knowing the fact that you were a victim of identity theft.
