I found a long letter stating all kinds of things the collection agency had to do, snt it to mrs and they put bad debt on my credit report. Does this mean they wont come after me again, or should I worry in the future. Second. I cant find this letter for a friend, its not the same one on here now. It was a long one stating they must do all kinds of things to validate the debt..where is that one? thanks all

and its not under the sample debt letters. I might of been before but this one was almost 2 pages long. to verify debt, and give all kinds of information on the loan, etc..id numbers all kinds of great stuff.

You don't really need to be asking for a whole laundry list of things. It's a waste of your time and they won't provide 95% of what the letter asks for. You just need to state that you dispute the dept in its entirety and to provide validation per sec 809 of the FDCPA.
