My husband has had a payment agreement with MRS Associates and has paid off the debt. The folks he has talked to at MRS agree that his account is closed. However, 277.00 continues to be debited from his account monthly, then he has to email the guy who is handling this at MRS proof that the payment was made and they send us the 277.00 with a note that says 'refund of automatic payment' or some such. We have emailed, talked on the phone, etc., and are at wits end as to how to get them to just close the account already. I have searched and searched and haven't found this particular problem in any forum, so any ideas are welcome.
