My company is Being hassled by NAFS for debt that is not mine. Just the brief time I spent on the phone with them indicated that their info. is not correct. As a matter of fact, they did not even know my name - they actually asked for my attorney who set up my LLC - which I'm sure they got from public records. There are other companies in the USA with the same name but not the same location or the same catagory (i.e. LLC, INC. etc).
I have checked all three of my credit reports and there is NOTHING on any of them idicating strange activity. I'm sure they have me mixed up with someoneelse but they wont stop calling - should I just ignore them or should I respond? I don't want them to have any more information about me then they already have so I am hesitant to engage with them, however, it does concern me that someone elses debt could so easily be linked to me.
Any advice would be appreciated.
