Hey everyone,

I had a few payday loans in January of this year, and was having a hard time paying them back so I found this forum and did what was recommended, sending each lender a letter stating they can't take any more money from my bank and that I would pay them the rest of the principal when they contacted me. No one contacted me at all and the lenders didn't have email addresses, websites, or phone numbers for me to contact them.

So yesterday I received an email from ar@mail-reply.com saying "
Applicant# 175961901-300 Dear name removed, Your account with was sent to National Credit Adjustors, 866-660-1626 Thank you, FTPIC"

It seems like a lot of people on random websites and search results have said they are scammers or a bad company and not to bother contacting them or anything. I don't want to be sued over about $400 or anything bad you know?
The strange thing is that this email listed them as "Adjustors" with an "o". Is this company real? I did call and briefly spoke with a rep, all I said was "i received an email saying my account was sent to you and I have no idea what it means" and they said that someone sent that email and she could give me a number" I could barely understand under the deep accent she had.. any thoughts or advice? I've heard reviews about the company(correctly spelled one) saying some people paid them money but they keep asking for more.. I'm not sure what to do!!
