There is an entry on my credit report posted/reported by National Recovery, collecting for Collectibles Today, for $205.00.

I did not buy anything from Collectibles Today and have never signed up for an account with them. They don't even know my social security number!!

National Recovery just popped up on my report. Has anyone else delt with this company or problem?

thanks

This bill I got was for something I didn't buy from a company, that sells toys and collectibles, and has no credit card agreement. I guess when the bill wasn't paid for this non ordered-non received item, the seller then passed bill to NR collection agency. Then the collection agency sent me a bill, and posted the debt on my credit file at TransUnion.
How can they do that when I didn't sign up to buy something on credit? Nor did I receive anything on credit. This is illegal...right?
