Nationwide ADR

I received a phone message from a man who stated he was calling to advise of a claim against me. And that he knows where I live and was going to serve me papers, he then left a phone number for company named Nationwide but he called them ADR. After I called to see what this is about I was informed that this was an attempt to collect on a debt for a Biggest Cash. This loan was paid back in 2008 but they are stating the amount never cleared from previous bank. They accused me of fraud and asked If I was served the paper. Any advise on what my next step should be ? I live in PA and the loan in question I believe is from 2008 . Also the checking account they are talking about was closed in 2009. Phone number I was given was 1888-491-1156

Anyways, no debt collector will call you and threaten you to serve papers. This is an indication that they are scams. Don't pay heed to their calls. They can do nothing. If they harass you, file a case against them with your local police authorities and your states' regulatory body.
