NCO debt collectors in PA

Anyone know of a way to find out who NCO paid my $4,545 debt to? They paid someone else's credit card number and not mine. They claim they destroy their records after 3 years. I am now being sued AGAIN for this debt. Where do I go from here?

Who did you owe? That would be a start...NCO does some continency collections and some junk debt buying. Get a copy of your paid check/money order. And I am pretty sure that NCO has to keep records more than 3 years. It would all be in archives. For tax purposes, they would need to keep records more than 3 years.
