NCO Financial

I made a payment for a Rogers Wireless account via NCO Financial, and they never gave it to Rogers. I also didn't get a release form from them. They only proof I have that payments are made is my bank statements from 2008. I spent an hour on the phone today with NCO and they claim they have no history of me, or my payments in the system.
NCO's advise, call Rogers. Rogers advice, call NCO.
I'm not about to pay this twice. The best thing I can think of to do is to take them to court to get my money back. Unless someone can come up with a better idea.
Any suggestions?
