I've received two collection letters from National Credit Adjusters.

The first is for Sandpoint Capital. I got a payday loan from them back in Feburary 2011. The original amount was $300. I made repeated request via phone and faxes which I have requesting to pay the loan in full on several occasions. They repeatedly ignored my request and continued to pull out the refinance fee. I ended up paying them at total of $720 in refinance fees. I finally blocked their debits from my checking account. I live in CA and they are not licensed to lend her. I sent them a cease and desist letter when the collection calls started and sent them a letter demanding $420 back. Of course since they are overseas I did not hear from the. They sent it to a collection agency called Epstein and Rothman which harrased by phone even after I sent the cease and desist letters. They finally stopped. Now the debt is with National Credit Adjusters. I filed a complaint with the CA AG's office, BBB and FTC.

The second debt they're after me for was for a loan a took out with Plain Green Loans (formerly Think Cash/Bank of Deleware). I stopped paying it because I was unemployed and needed money for food and rent. Back in August I sent them a letter offering a settlement. I received an email from them asking me to call to discuss my letter which I promptly did. The person I spoke with said they'd accept my settlement. I said great, send me letter of agreement and I'll send the money order right away. Mind you I did the same with another high interest loan company, CashCall, with no problem. They sent a letter within two days. I signed the paperwork and sent them a money order for the agreed upon amount. The woman told me they did not take money orders. They demanded my checking account information to pull the money out or that I use a credit card to purchase a debit card from them for $50 and then put the money I owed them on the debit card. I told them no. They have no sent this to National Credit Adjusters.

So I don't owe them anything for Sandpoint but do owe for Thinkcash. So I'm just wondering how best to handle this. I've heard many unscrupulus things about them an wonder if I send money to Thinkcash what's to say it won't be applied to that and applied to the Sandpoint account.

The latest letter I received from National Credit Adjusters was saying that they purchased the debt from Thinkcash and I now owe them.

Thanks.
