Niagara Credit Solutions : Anyone heard of them?

What state do you live in, and when was the last time you made a charge or payment on the account?

Also... Who is the creditor? Do you know who actually owns the account?

TX. In Aug. 2006. Their client is Worldwide Asset Purchasing II/West Asset Management, Inc. Yes BoA. Tried to pay them directly but BoA has no account on file with my inforamtion.

I sent DV letter to last one and now another CA has it for WWAP. They claim BoA is their client.

OK, it's in statute. SoL in TX runs 4 years.

If BofA no longer has any record of the account, then it's 99% likely that the account was sold. That also jibes with their listing Worldwide/West as the creditor.

I'm not familiar with Worldwide, but West is scum. They are known to play fast and loose with the rules. Send A DV letter to both Niagara and Worldwide / West. DVing Niagara should hopefully keep them outta your hair until they produce validation. DVing Worldwide / West should keep them from pulling the account from Niagara and farming it out to another agency. Don't hold your breath waiting for validation, blue's not your color. I'd about bet that they can't validate. Otherwise, one of the previous agencies would have by now.

Thank you for the info. I will send them out tomorrow. I need to check if they can collect in TX. WWAP is not on the list. Previous CA was but I never heard from them since sending the DV.

I'd bet it's because they can't validate. That would also tend to explain the fact that the account's been through four CAs in two years.

Thanks Unclewulf. Humm..one would think it would be easy to do since WWAP claims BoA is their client and its a substantual amount. Must be BS. Guess BoA has cut their losses and didn't provide squat but the amount, my name & wrong address. This CA still has the wrong address. The last one I asked them to use my PO Box because of the mail issues. BoA always had the correct address, not this other CAs are using. Niagara CS is bonded in TX as of 10/16/7.

They are scam artists that buy bad paper & tell you that they work for the Erie County Courts & try to scare you into paying off debt that has passed the statute of limitations by threatening you with court ordered wage garnishments that they do not have!

Tonight, they called my home looking for someone named Justin. I told them what I knew... whoever was here before had died of a heart attack. The female that was on the phone said she just loved when she got bedtime stories and hung up on me. I called them back and attempted to tell them again what I knew of the guy, and she hung up on me again. RUDE.
