Has anyone ever heard of A&A North American Financial. They are currently sueing me on a debt that was NEVER mine! They bought debt from citibank and says it was mine. I had a citibank card but I closed the account years ago and it was paid. The account numbers don't match and my card only had a $500 limit. They are saying I owe 5500.00. WOW....talk ab out crazy. They are also saying the account got charged off in Aug of 2001 (6 months after I turned 18.) I got my card in March of 01....and kept it until 03. I then closed it with another card.I don't know what to think this is crazy...I know it isn't my debt. ~Tom

You need to demand validation in the discovery, where they have to provide you with documentation. Since this is not your debt, there is no way they can do so and then you motion to dismiss.
