This morning I called 888-622-0222, the recording stated it was Phoenix but when I called back again the lady said that this is NRS. She was collecting for a payday loan company and told me I had until 2:00 to call her back with a account number. I live in NC where payday loans are illegal. The companies she is calling for either recieved a letter, fax or an e-mail telling them that I will only pay the amount that I borrowed. If anyone has a mailing address for this company please post it. Thanks

Gotta love these clowns. After I closed my bank account so SSM Group couldn't get anymore money for a loan I NEVER asked for or signed for...they turned me over to these clowns. Their agent tried calling me at home AND at work. I called him and he said I owed $400 but he could work around and accept $250. I just laughed at him. I told him I never asked for the loan and that they had already screwed me over for $170 that they took back and $800 in overdraft fees that they caused me. I told him I'd call him back the next Monday. Hope he's still not waiting for my call. ;)

I faxed a letter asking them to prove that I owe the money to these companies. Do you think I will hear anything from them by mail?

Not sure, you may or may not, but if they can't validate the loan, they can't collect on it either.

Just allow them a month or so to respond back to your DV letter. If they validate it during this time frame, try to negotiate a loan repayment plan with them, but, in case, if you don't, send them another one after sometime. If they still fail to send you a satisfactory reply, forget about the loan. Though, you'll still have the moral obligation to repay the loan that you have taken, you're not require to pay it if they can't validate the debt.

one of the payday loan companies is Titan LLC I did borrow from them and because of their payment set up you had to give them three days written notice before you could pay back the loan, No more no less, or they would go into your account and take out the $90 service fee, the milked me for more than the loan was worth and then when I tried to contact them to pay it, I couldn't get ahold of anyone, they kept dipping into my account after I mailed a check to them, So I've stop trying to be cooperative with them
