How many Times can The O/C call you in one given day would 19 be too many ? I have written them many many times and told them what I can do I requested them to let me know if they would work with me in writing well they ignored that request and just keep calling .I quess by the late charges and the many many calls they do not want to work with me .. I do not answer the phone ...
It has been over the usual time limit for them to send it out .
I just dont understand what part of the letters telling them what I could pay they don't seem to grasp their minds around ..
I do know you would not go buy a car and house over the phone everything should be in writing why can't the collectors do this ?

Contact your states Attorney General's Office as well as your states labor law office. Let them know what is occuring, that you are afraid you will lose you job and if possible, send them one more letter stating since they violated your rights and are continuing to call you at work (thus putting your job in jeopardy) you will now only communicate via written postal mail and you have reported them to the appropriate agencies as harassing you at work. If they are truly a "legitimate" OC, they would respect your request to stop calling you at work.

Guest, exactly, any OC i've delt with and told I could not accept calls at work, respected that (well cept Sears, and they would only do it after I sent them a certified letter, and this was long before the Fair debt collection acts, and states started becoming more agressive with excessive calls)
