Owed Debt

I owe a debt to a bank, the collection agency that claims that they now owen it does not have the same account number that the original account had. I have paperwork, statements and a letter from the bank when the were sending it to the collection agency my account number doesn't correspond with what the collection agency has. I have told them that this is not my account, however the still claim that they will take legal action
If they send you anything in writing then send them a debt valid
If they send you anything in writing then send them a debt validation letter certified mail. They have samples on this site.
