Phishing?

I think Palisades may also be engaged in phishing by phone. I am currently getting repeated automated phone calls to a person I have never heard of. I've had this phone number for 11 years, and I sincerely doubt that they really believe they can contact this person here. Of course, the only way to tell them that it is to call them back, which I will not do as they do not need any of my personal information. Funny thing is, a few years ago they were repeatedly calling for someone else. That stopped when I filed a complaint with the FTC. Anyway, any thoughts that this company is hoping to annoy people enough that they reveal who they are, so the CA can begin to harrass them directly? I'm 58 yo and up until a few years ago, I never received phone calls like this. Now it's constant - and not for the same people. I smell scam.

No it is probably not a scam. Simply send them a cease and desist letter in writing. They are either skip tracing or they have a bad number on an old debt.
