They are listed on my credit report for an ATT wireless Bill. I wasn't aware I even owed them. Asked TRW to investigate.

Do Not ever admit to these people any amount owed, Ask them to Verify how much they believe you owe with a copy of the Bills, Make sure the bill is not taken from the Internet as that is not a true Bill as to AT&T it is a fraud and made up, Look at the date of the Bill and if you make any comments stating you owe it You are hurting yourself remember a Bill has to be removed after 6 years, If you send any Money to them to conclude that Bill you start a New date allowed to collect that Bill as statues to collect is 6 years you will start that date from the new Payment! If you claim You do not owe this money state why so you can move further!

Send it to them with registered Mail, Let them send you the original filing in a court of Law for the collection and You want to see their ownership of the Bill or a Retainer agreement, then contact me if you need further assistance

they are not collecting from me but good luck i know how evil they are

I disputed the charge with TRW, and they have deleted it from my credit report.

I just won a settlement against Palisades, but don't know if I can help you in any way. What sort of information do you need/want?

i didn't mean to sound like a downer, i just honestly do not think pressler will be ever be defeated, as in closed down and lose their licesnses. they really are horrible and need to be stopped somehow but i do not know if they ever will be :(

thanks, I am so happy about it, yes they had to pay me $500, and my attorney $2,505, and remove themselves from my credit report ... but that isn't why I am happy. I am HAPPY because they LOST! There are laws, and normally the people who get help don't really deserve the help. But I did deserve the help, I didn't do anything wrong, I paid my debt in full, and they violated the law. So anything that I can do to give them their just deserts, I'll do!

If you have any questions, you can always call the Orginal creditor. Don't forget At&t brought up a bunch of local telephone companies a while back (I wanna say two-three-four years ago?) While you may not techincally owe At&T.. you may still have owed your local telephone company. Thus the reason for the At&t being on your credit, they are now the new creditor since they brought up the old company and incurred their previous customers.

How do I know this? Happened to me, and decided to invesitgate it. I knew I owed my local telephone company, but never had At&t Wireless, account. Called At&t, told the rep that I had something on my credit that I didn't reconize, and transfered me to someone (Forgot which department), and the nice gal at At&t that I talked to said they had brought up SBC (which I knew, just thought that it would have been At&t) listed on my credit not at&t wireless. She explained to me that the wireless part of At&t brought out my local company, thus why att&twireless was on my account.

Yeah Nascar, I believe that's where I saw it. What do you think? You think it's true?

Any debts to Cingular or Bellsouth would now show up as AT&T.

my attorney seemed to think that there was a cash flow problem which was why they were ignoring the lawsuit that we filed and evetually won. Speaking of that though, my attorney has not received the settlement check from them yet, and they claim that it was mailed 7 days ago from their attorney to mine ...

I will, I just emailed the attorney again this afternoon.

They just (Feb 26th )started calling me .. Tomorrow will the 5th day no dunning letter ..From what I am reading they need to be shut down .. If there is anyway I can help the lawyer..
I live in Texas .. I have not had the pleasure of talking to them, they just leave their really detailed message ..

He had emailed me 7 days ago that "The check, I am told, has been cut and sent to their counsel???s office, and then forwarded to me." ... so when I asked for a status today, his answer was "No, doesn???t work that fast. Should have it soon enough." It made me laugh ... to him, my little case is probably a nothing sort of issue, but to me, it is huge. Oh well, I will wait until a week from today, and then email him again.

We are working hard on this case and trial is still on-going, closing arguments and Letters posted to the Justice in this case will help stop these criminals, we are even thinking of filing a case against Palisades Collection, LLC and all there attorneys for each person they have filed against which they have violated the Law and there civil rights, upon the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Attorney are bound by Law to follow the Laws of each State, the court address is: Index No. 34788/06 Civil Clerk of the Court, 99 Maine Street, Hempstead, New York, 11550, Send a letter to the Judge telling him How you have been hurt by this firm!
