Are they allowed to summons you to court if you are in a different state then them

The summons you receive should be in where you live not where they are.

Jennifer from Paramount has lied several times by putting charges on a family credit card- I am in the process of contacting EMC marketing, the BBB and The Attorney General-Paramount Recovery employs employees that have charged on my family member credit card w/o having further permission to do so- we are filing charges and disputing with the bank- she feels she has the last word - however I dont think so- she has misrepresented the company, collection ethics- violation of FDCPA- not only will Paramount Recovery be respbonsible- but Jennifer will also have personal liabilty- I HOPE SHE IS BONDED with a good bond company.

Be Careful they also ask for post dated checks which I wouldn't do, and ask for credit information up front. I advised that if they wanted a lump sum payment they would have to settle for something way less, that is the only way to send a cashiers check or money gram to them. If you settle and try to split the payments they advise you can't sent money gram or cashiers check because they want your credit card info or your bank info to make charges when they want. For everyones future reference don't let them know you have a bank account and that you only use money grams or other forms of payment without confidential info on them.

What is wrong with you people, just pay your bills and you wont have debt collectors calling, they are doing there job just like you do everyday, but the sad thing is you guys look for ways not to pay your bills, are you proffesional scammers or something, really think about this, why are they calling you? They are calling due to your neglegance of not paying your bills... Collectors are very aware of your money problems they have the info right in front of them when they call, why is it that you can get a credit card or a loan and not pay it back? These people are doing what the companies you borrowed the money from couldnt due,collect it!!!!!!!! This is why the economy is the way it is, people not wanting to pay there bills!!!! And you people dont understand why they call you at work, hmmm lets see when you wanted money from them you had no problem handing out the info to get what u wanted, now pay them and stop trying to find reasons not to pay them
