Can you be arrested for not paying parking tickets?

If you don't pay parking tickets for a long time, then the court may ask you to appear in court and pay off the balance. If you don't appear in court, then the court may issue a bench warrant for your arrest.

Unpaid parking tickets may also lead to license suspension or revocation, car booting or towing and increased car insurance premiums.

In which state do you live in?

The punishment will vary by city and state. In some city, not paying the fine within the time may include the doubling or tripling of the amount. Your ticket may send to the collections as well.
In some cities, the parking services send out reminders at 30, 60 and 90 days. If they don't get payment, then the ticket will be sent to a collection agency within 90 to 20 days.
