Past cc debt.

I had a business in 2004-2005 and I got a CC for the business. The card had my name and Social Security Number tied to it along with the Company name on it. The last payment was made on it in December 2006. Is this considered my debt or the business, which has gone out of business? The collection letter only has my name and SSN on it. The SOL is 3 years here in Va. on personal CC debt. What are my Options? Allied Collection Agency had started calling my house 5 time a day and today I got a letter from them.

Since your name and SSN is attached to the card, the debt would belong to you. You have personally guaranteed the loan taken by the business against that card. Try to settle with the CA. But before that make sure that the account is within the legal SOL.
