Should I pay or wait?

I received a letter from Redline Recovery 9/12/08 stating that if we didn't make payment the creditor lvnv(was a sears account) said they will be starting court actions.This falls off the credit report December 2009.I am at a loss as to what to do.If I pay now then it will start the time on my credit report over and not fall off until 2015,if I don't then they may sue.
Any advice would be great.

one thing, it may fall off your credit report, but they still ca
one thing, it may fall off your credit report, but they still can sue you if it is not past the SOL. You will still need to pay this bill even if it falls off your credit report, unless you file for BK that is the only time you don't have to pay. And if you look up LVNV in the search bar you will see what you are in for with this company.
IF it is past the SOL, then you have a defense against the claim
